ALL ABOUT CSSG floor hockey

This high spirit and zero-contact league gives you an outlet to play hockey without the high cost of ice! If you’re looking for a truly awesome cardio experience this season with a focus on fun, then our leagues are for you! Games are played with official-size plastic hockey sticks and everyone’s favourite orange ball. Where possible, teams are split into divisions with other teams with alike calibre.

HIGHLIGHTS + LeAGUE DETAILS

Leagues run eac hand every Tuesday.
Games are 55-minutes with rotating start times.
Locations include (but are not limited to): Pierre Elliot Trudeau Elementary School.
- CSSG does its best to balance all teams’ locations and timeslots, however; several factors can impact league schedules, including permit updates, and number of registrations.
Leagues begin the week of September 17th and wrap up the week of December 10th. *Exception Monday Leagues will end on December 18th. (13-Week Season)
Rosters & Schedules will be available to registered players at least two (2) days prior to your first game.
Register as an individual, with friends or as a team!

Skill Division & Roster

All leagues Recreational skill level and are fun-focused.
Individual teams will receive a Welcome Letter and Roster update no later than Wednesday, September 6^th.
Mixed Gender Leagues: Teams must always play with a minimum of 2 men and 2 women on the field.
Single Gender: Teams must always play with the same gendered players on the field
Open Gender: There are no minimum gender requirements. Players participate freely without restrictions existing as to how many players of each gender are on the field.

The majority of equipment and set up is taken care of by SSC staff. Goalies – are responsible for their own gear. Please see Goalie Equipment Regulations on OSSC Rules Page for more details.
